They are seeking a talented Construction Development Manager to help us bring our new developments to life.
As the Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of construction projects within their portfolio. Reporting to the Development Director, you'll manage budgets, maintain timelines, and ensure high-quality standards while working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Your strong background in Quantity Surveying, especially in the hospitality sector, will be invaluable.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting feasibility studies and site assessments
- Managing project budgets and implementing cost-control measures
- Acting as the primary contact for project-related communications
- Overseeing tendering and contract negotiations
- Monitoring construction activities and ensuring compliance with standards
- Identifying risks and establishing mitigation strategies
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- 5-10 years of experience in construction or development management, preferably within the hospitality or hotel sector.
- Strong project management, financial acumen, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Certifications like PMP, MCIOB, RICS are a plus.
