A great newly created role now exists for a Bi-Lingual Senior Reward Analyst to join a leading investment business, with the almost unique opportunity to break into financial services and step into the role of a manager. This role has been created to support their London, German and wider European entities with broad compensation advice, leading the design and delivery of both fixed and variable pay ranges across the business. In addition, you'll conduct analysis of roles and grades and provide expert recommendations on trends or concerns. As a result, the business is looking to meet compensation experts (from any background) who are fluent in German and would enjoy joining a highly collaborative team who together provide a globally tailored service. The business offers a very strong agile working option, together with the above salary and generous bonus and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compensation Strategy Development: Design and implement compensation strategies tailored to support the wider European workforce, ensuring competitiveness, alignment with business objectives, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market benchmarking and analysis to provide data-driven recommendations for salary structures, bonus plans, and other remuneration components.
  • Regional Collaboration: Act as the primary compensation expert for Europe, partnering with HR teams in London, Germany, and other European markets to address unique local challenges and opportunities.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to all relevant legal, tax, and regulatory requirements in multiple jurisdictions, proactively mitigating risk.
  • Process Optimisation: Develop efficient and scalable compensation processes and tools to support a growing organisation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior leaders, finance teams, and external consultants to align compensation strategies with broader organisational goals.
  • Cultural Alignment: Leverage your bilingual capabilities to bridge cultural and linguistic differences, ensuring seamless communication and integration across regions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in international compensation.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and German (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of compensation frameworks and regulations across European markets.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects across multiple geographies and stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building strong relationships across diverse teams and cultures.
