Supplier and School Relationship Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supplier and School Relationship Officer to join our team on a nine-month contract. This hybrid role requires a minimum of one day per week in the office, with additional onsite visits to schools and client premises as needed. Working hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with key suppliers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective services that provide the best value for money. This role is crucial in supporting the sourcing and procurement of compliant goods and services, particularly within catering and other traded services for schools.
A key aspect of the role involves acting as a primary point of contact for suppliers, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring that all contractual commitments, service levels, and performance indicators are met. The role also includes supporting the mobilisation of new contracts, resolving supplier and service issues, and ensuring that all goods and services provided to schools meet agreed specifications and pricing.
The ideal candidate will have experience in supplier and contract management, particularly in a public sector or education setting. Strong knowledge of procurement, tendering, and service specification development is essential, along with the ability to analyse data, prepare reports, and negotiate with suppliers. Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple relationships effectively will be key to success in this role.
If you are a proactive problem solver with a strong background in contract management and a passion for delivering high-quality services to schools, we encourage you to apply.
