Bid Writer

My client is a well-established, profitable and privately owned Construction Main Contractor who successfully deliver planned repairs and maintenance, including but not limited to void or occupied dwelling refurbishments, FRA, cyclical decorations, retrofit and restoration of Heritage properties.

Due to planned growth, they are looking to appoint a Bid Writer/Senior Bid Writer to their expanding team at their offices in Londons West End. This is a hybrid role and would involve 2 days per week in the office with the remainder of the week working remotely.

This individual will take ownership of technical submittals (selection questionnaires and written tender responses) and examine the proposition in each, looking to challenge the business units and drive operational teams to offer more, and better, as part of submissions. This will come to form an important part of a bigger initiative to look at uplifting designs, copywriting, management techniques and relationships with all parts of the business.

Working closely with the Head of Bidding and all other parts of the team, you will be an enthusiastic and tenacious character who wants to be part of a developing and growing part of the business. You will be prepared to contribute to new initiatives and be adaptable to the shifting requirements of a business, dealing with very different needs across its component parts.
