Assistant Management Accountant
This Loughborough based construction company is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the business to support the wider Finance team. The team is close-knit and this role would be fully office based - this is a great opportunity for a finance professional seeking a varied role to develop their understanding of financial operations.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Calculating accruals, prepayments, bad debts, and rebates.
- Assisting with financial statements and annual budgets.
- Analysing expenditure and monitoring budget vs actuals.
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Managing fixed asset postings and variance analysis.
- Analysing financial performance and assiting with forecasting.
- Providing information for audit and external reporting.
- Supporting credit control and purchase ledger functions.
- Working cross-functionally to support financial decision-making across departments.
- Ensure compliance with company financial procedures.
