Role: Capital Accountant
Type: Interim - 6 months
Salary: 400 to 600 per day
Fully Remote & Occasional Travel options
Location: Leicestershire
Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Capital Accountant for our Local Authority client.
Key responsibilities for the Capital Accountant are;
- Extensive Capital Accounting experience
- Experience in closing down capital year-end accounts
- Knowledge of effective budget preparation and monitoring
- Understanding of statutory accounting and reporting requirements
- General Accounting principles understanding.
The Ideal candidate for the Capital Accountant will have;
- Knowledge and understanding of finance systems in Local Government (ideal)
- Local Authority accounting and finance experience (ideal)
- Fully Qualified Accountant
- Stakeholder Management experience
- Financial Systems and Excel experience.
