SF Recruitment are supporting a superb SME Business in Leicester who are seeking a Head Of Finance to join their business. As the Head Of Finance, you will oversee a small team of 3 & report into a supportive Managing Director. They are an award-winning business with exciting growth plans. The successful Head Of Finance will be a strong team leader & enjoy developing & mentoring a small team, improving processes & procedures. The ideal Head Of Finance will be a qualified Accountant with hands on experience in an SME business.

Duties of the head of Finance will Include:

- Cost accounting
- Issue financial statements
- Month-end close process
- Management Reporting
- Production of monthly management accounts & Financial Analysis
- Controls / Audits
- Review internal financial control systems
- Prepare audit information as required
- Ensure accurate and timely VAT Returns in line with accounting timelines
- Strategic Planning
- Line management of the finance team
- Will be required to process the payroll on Sage and deal with the company pension scheme (or ensure this is processed efficiently within the team)
- Budgeting / Forecasting
