Your new companyHays are seeking a Specialist HGV Driver to transport waste materials from Recycling and Household Waste Sites (RHWS) to disposal locations using Hook Loader HGVs. The perfect candidate has the experience and tickets to showcase their knowledge, with a team-focused attitude. Job Title: Specialist HGV DriverLocation: Croft, Loughborough & Surrounding AreasPay: £14.14 per hour (PAYE)Key Responsibilities:
- Transport waste materials efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, fuelled, and presentable.
- Comply with all procedures and directions from supervisors.
- Maintain high standards of safety and care for assets.
Qualifications & Experience:
- HGV licence
- Driver CPC
- Significant experience driving HGVs and references.
- Experience in the waste haulage industry.
- Familiarity with specialist vehicle systems like hook loaders and easy-sheets.
