Personal Assistant 

Salary: £28,879 - £33,882  

Working Hours: 37 hours per week (flexible over 5 days between 8am and 6pm)  

Hybrid Working: 3 days on-site

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Personal Assistant (PA) to provide high-level administrative support to our Deputy Chief Operating Officer (DCOO) and the Directors of Human Resources and Organisational Development & Change. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong organisation and communication skills who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support.

- Manage diaries, scheduling meetings, and making travel arrangements.

- Handle incoming correspondence and prioritise communications effectively.

- Maintain electronic filing systems and manage documentation flow.

- Organise meetings and ensure participants are well-prepared.

- Support the appraisal process for senior managers.

- Take initiative on urgent matters in the absence of senior staff.

- Collaborate with various internal teams to streamline information requests.

- Represent the DCOO and Directors professionally, both internally and externally.

What We Are Looking For:

Essential Criteria:

- Significant experience supporting senior leaders in a comparable setting.

- Proven expertise in diary management and coordinating complex meetings.

- Experience handling sensitive information with a high level of professionalism.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Desirable Criteria:

- Previous experience in a Higher Education environment.

- Familiarity with relevant legislation (e.g., Data Protection Act).
