A superb accountancy firm, based within easy reach of Loughborough, Leicester, South Nottingham and Melton Mowbray are hiring a tremendous role, available at the qualified level for an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant. 

The position is for full time hours, offering a hybrid split of home and office with flexible hours too.

OVERVIEW:

There is real flexibility about the split of home and office working, plus the firm also have a strong and recurring bonus system which adds significantly as time passes to your basic salary, on which they are definitely one of the highest paying firms in the East Midlands.

1)    Must have at least 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practise

2)    Have a good understanding of accounts and basic personal and business tax knowledge together with good client communication skills and ability to manage a diverse range of clients. A good mix of experience is ideal to us.

3)    The role is very client facing so must be personable.

4)    They are a “lifetime” employer so looking to recruit staff to stay with them for the long term. They would like applicants to live within a sensible commute.

The role is a varied role as "Client Manager" the candidate would be responsible for the day to day needs of a client base reporting to and working with a number of the partners responsible for the overall service to the client. The firm have very low levels of staff turnover.

Responsible for a portfolio of clients:

  • Main point of contact for all client queries.
  • Responsible for accounts preparation, potentially some audit work (dependent on your experience and preference), corporation tax return preparation and personal tax preparation
  • Involvement in tax compliance and tax planning both personal and corporate
  • Responsibility for the preparation of trust and estate returns
  • Involvement in inheritance tax planning
  • Involvement in the day to day planning and management of the practise
