ABPM are supporting a niche and well-established SME manufacturing client to recruit a Finance Manager. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, they will focus on ensuring accurate and timely management reporting and providing information to assist business decisions. The successful individual will be a qualified accountant (or close to completing their final exams) who can use their professional knowledge and experience to add value through detailed analysis.

An insight into your responsibilities:

Prepare monthly management accounts.
Ensure all financial transactions are recorded, reported, reviewed, and reconciled.
Produce rolling cashflow forecasting.
Provide financial analysis for decision making.
Production of sales invoices for UK and overseas, including foreign rates and VAT.
Ensure VAT is accounted for correctly on all transactions.
Assist to develop budgets and forecasts.
Continuously seek improvements for accounts and reporting.
Compliance with regulations and legislations throughout.
Support the annual audit, with the production of year end accounts and annual stocktake.

Do you have the knowledge and experience?

ACA / ACCA / ACMA / or studying and close to completion.
Sector experience within Manufacturing, Engineering or Construction.
IT literate with advanced Excel skills. ERP/MRP knowledge would be desirable.
Foreign currency skills would be an advantage but not essential.
