Job Title: Machine Tool Fitter
Shift: Monday - Thursday 07:45 - 17:00 and Friday 07:45 - 12:30
Salary: Up to 36,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)
Location: Leicestershire, LE8

The Company:
A world leader in drilling technology for cooling holes as applied to Jet Engines and Gas Turbines for energy production.
The Machine Tool Fitter Role:
- Building and assembling CNC machines
- Aligning ball screws, linear rails
- Disassembly of machines and rebuild with new components
- All machine and axis alignments
- Working from engineering drawings
- Meeting Environmental, Health and Safety and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements
The Candidate:
- Experience of assembling mechanical assemblies relevant to CNC machine tools including pneumatics, hydraulics and/or pressure-based fluid systems.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand dimensions and geometric tolerances.
- Hand scraping experience is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
