An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HSE Manager to join a well-established specialist provider in their sector. This is a key role within the business, offering the chance to contribute significantly to health, safety, and environmental compliance during a period of rapid growth.
As HSE Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining and developing health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and OHAS 45001 standards.
To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:
- NEBOSH (essential)
- At least 5 years of experience in site safety and CDM regulations.
- Knowledge and experience with quality accreditations
- Strong report writing and IT skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- A proactive and meticulous approach to health and safety management
- The ability to provide constructive feedback and deliver training where necessary
Within this position, you’ll also be:
- Supporting company accreditations, including maintenance and re-certification
- Investigating near misses, hazards, and incidents, producing comprehensive reports and implementing corrective actions
- Managing PPE distribution and conducting workforce audits
- Holding managers accountable for adherence to safety procedures
- Monitoring and reporting on department KPIs and accident statistics
- Conducting fire and emergency response drills
- Developing method statements and risk assessments as required
- Keeping up to date with legislative changes and ensuring company compliance
- Delivering company inductions and supporting team development
Salary & Working Hours
Salary is up to £47,000 per annum Depending on experience
Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm with early finish Fridays Â
28 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
