Our HR team at Macildowie are currently recruiting for a Trainee Training Coordinator to join a leading care provider committed to delivering outstanding service to their residents and employees.
Job Purpose: As a Trainee Training Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Training Manager to deliver a comprehensive and effective training offering that aligns with business objectives. Your efforts will help enhance employee skills, improve performance, increase productivity, and foster a culture of continuous learning across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the day-to-day administration and logistics of face-to-face and eLearning training courses.
- Set up and support the delivery of eLearning programs and facilitate in-person training sessions across homes.
- Monitor training needs and ensure that all homes and departments are fully supported with relevant and effective learning opportunities.
- Schedule and plan all training activities in close collaboration with the Training Manager.
- Oversee and coordinate QCF Qualifications (NVQs) and other development programs.
- Support the smooth organisation and delivery of employee inductions.
- Maintain accurate training records and monitor employee training progress.
- Ensure all statutory training requirements are met and up-to-date.
- Perform training needs analysis for all roles and develop and implement tailored training plans.
- Work closely with Home Managers and Heads of Department to support new team members during their first 3 months of employment.
- Conduct regular competency checks to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Promote and market available training programs to staff, ensuring clear communication about the benefits and session details.
- Collect feedback from trainees and the Training Manager to continuously improve the training process.
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained and all concerns or feedback are addressed promptly
- Contribute to the overall training and development strategy and the success of the business.
What We're Looking For:
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role or within the health and social care sector is preferred
- Familiarity with training methodologies such as e-learning, workshops, and coaching would be an advantage.
- No formal qualifications required; practical experience and a passion for learning are more important.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Ability to adapt to new challenges and methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
