We are seeking an experienced professional to join our IT team in Leicester on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of the Service Desk team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day resolution of incidents and service requests, ensuring our staff receive exceptional IT support.


What were looking for:


?? Experience:


  • a minimum of two to three years experience in a customer-facing service desk role

  • experience with PC hardware and configuration

  • knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365

  • experience working in a multisite support environment

  • proficiency with Service Desk applications (e.g. FreshService, ServiceNow, Assist, Remedy)


?? Skills:

  • a clean, full UK driving licence

  • adaptable and flexible, with a solutions-focused approach to challenges

  • excellent problem-solving skills

  • strong communication and stakeholder management abilities


What youll be doing:


?Resolving technical support queries received via phone, email, or the Helpdesk portal.

?Conducting first- and second-line troubleshooting, with third line support available as needed.

?Identifying, creating, and resolving problem tickets where possible.

?Taking ownership of support issues and being proactive in resolving user queries.

?Working within agreed SLAs, providing timely updates for existing tickets.

?Maintaining a high standard of customer service for all support requests.

?Assisting with IT projects and contributing to user guides/technical documentation.

?Conducting site visits to remote offices to deliver hands-on IT support.
