We are looking for a Legal Secretary to join our new Client based in Loughborough. As a Legal Secretary, you will be expected to provide secretarial and administrative support to the department. If you are interested in the Legal Secretary role, please continue reading.

 

Pay Rate:

  • £12.08 to £13.19 (depending on experience)

 

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm

 

Role for a Legal Secretary

 

You will be required to help with all secretarial and administrative requirements within the departments.  You will also be expected to help within other departments including Reception.

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Type accurately and efficiently
  • Deal appropriately with any enquiries (whether by telephone, email, post, or attendance)
  • Assist in effective organisation of fee earner's files, filing system and diary system in accordance with office procedures
  • Provide all necessary admin support and assistance to fee earners to increase efficiency and obtain the best possible lawful outcomes for clients, including administration of files, client care, identity checks and scanning
  • Work as a team with the fee earners, the rest of the department and the firm as a whole
  • Provide occasional assistance to the Front Office team (including telephones, reception and scanning files) as required.
  • Act in a cost effective and efficient manner.
  • Be aware of, and keep up to date with, relevant developments in law and practice.
