THE ROLE: WHAT YOULL BE DOING
As a Toolmaker, your job is to take raw materials and turn them into high-precision tools and components. If microns mean something to you (and you dont just think its a fancy way of saying small), this is right up your street.
- Precision engineering Craft, modify, and repair jigs, dies, moulds, and fixtures
- CNC & Manual Machining Operate lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM machines
- Blueprint Interpretation Work from detailed engineering drawings with pinpoint accuracy
- Problem-Solving When somethings off by 0.001mm, youre the one who fixes it
- Quality Control Ensure components meet tight tolerances (because near enough isnt good enough)
- Collaboration Work alongside engineers, designers, and production teams to bring concepts to life
