Purpose of the Production Manager Role:
Our client is looking for a Production Manager to oversee production planning and supervise daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. This hands-on role requires strong leadership to meet performance targets and uphold food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities for a Production Manager:

  • Prepare and execute production plans to meet customer orders on time and to the highest standard.
  • Supervise and coach production staff, ensuring adherence to safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
  • Collaborate with the quality/technical team to maintain food safety and complete related documentation.
  • Manage production budgets and staffing, maintaining efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.


Key Requirements for a Production Manager:

  • Proven experience in food or beverage production and planning.
  • Strong leadership, communication, continuous improvement, and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and quality standards (minimum Level 3 Food Safety preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Problem-solving skills and a target-driven approach.
