About the Role:
An exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join a growing team at a cutting-edge manufacturing company. This role is critical to expanding the business and involves building relationships with new and existing customers, driving growth within the subcontract machining and metal finishing markets.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions to clients, with the flexibility of working from the Midlands/North of England, while occasionally traveling to the company's manufacturing base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Expand existing accounts and identify new business opportunities in machining and metal finishing.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to meet their needs.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Quoting and Estimating: Prepare quotes, proposals, and bids, and ensure all estimates meet customer requirements.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to manage leads, estimates, and proposals.


What They Are Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or business development.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read CAD/engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Ability to travel across the UK and attend trade shows.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
