We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Key Account/Sales Manager to join our client's well-established and innovative manufacturing business. Description of the role:

  • Manage and maintain existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of service.
  • Develop new accounts and expand business across various end users and applications.
  • Regular customer visits, attendance at trade shows, and close collaboration with customers to introduce new technical innovations.
  • Work alongside the technical development team to identify and deliver product advancements.
  • Oversee sales administration and customer-facing processes, including managing one sales administrator.
  • Collaborate with internal departments for effective order handling and production scheduling.
  • Monitor and review sales prices, ensuring profit margins are maintained.
  • Assist in preparing annual sales budgets and setting pricing strategies for new products.
  • Utilise company software to analyse data and drive improvements in account management.

About you:

  • Previous experience within a similar role.
  • Experience within technical products/manufacturing.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Leadership experience, particularly in managing a team.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
