Position: English Teacher
Location: Leicester
Salary: £31,650 to £49,084 per annum, dependent on experience
Start Date: ASAP
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the national curriculum, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain high standards of classroom behavior and student discipline.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in English or a related subject.
- A valid DBS on the update service or must be willing to get one.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Experience teaching English at the secondary level is preferred but not essential for exceptional candidates.
- A passion for education and a commitment to student achievement.
- Due to the location of the school, a car would be benifitial.
