Salary: �20.00 Per Hour / 40 Hours per week

We are looking for someone with excellent communication, leadership and administrative skills with an approachable and friendly nature.

My client has a�64 bed Care Home providing�Nursing, including a Specialist Unit.�

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing direct care and support, using therapeutic principles and attachment-aware practice
  • Building relationships to encourage trust, while listening to and interpreting their needs and concerns
  • Ensure the correct administration of medication, including injections, and monitor the results of treatment
  • Help manage their emotions through de-escalating techniques.
  • Provide evidence-based individual therapy, such as cognitive behaviour therapy for depression and anxiety
  • Organise social events aimed at developing social skills and help reduce their feelings of isolation
  • Prepare and maintain records and produce care plans and risk assessments
  • Promote and participate in activities.
  • Helping manage and run day to day.
  • Offering advice, direct work and mentoring to people, as well as staff members
  • Deputising in the absence of the manager

Minimum requirements:

  • NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse/RMN
  • RMN
