Assured Safety Recruitment is partnering with a forward thinking construction and project management consultancy who are working on a warehouse installation project in Leicestershire. 

About the role

Acting on behalf of our client, as Health & Safety Consultant, you will collaborate with on site colleagues to ensure Health & Safety systems, processes and procedures are being adhered to. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct site visits and inspections to identify health and safety hazards 
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Provide advice and guidance to project teams on health and safety best practises
  • Deliver health and safety training to employees and contractors
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, and provide recommendations for prevention

Your experience

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum Health & Safety qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in health and safety management in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment and hazard identification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
