Exciting Opportunity for Transport Planner
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transport Planner to join a Transport Strategy and Policy Team (TSaP) in Leicester. This role will primarily focus on supporting the delivery of the team's plan, goals, and objectives, with particular emphasis on the development and implementation of the Multi Modal Area Investment Plans (MMAIPs) programme under the newly adopted LTP4.聽
The main duties of the Transport Planner are:
路Assist in the development and implementation of the MMAIPs programme.
路Support the development of transport priorities and solutions at the local geographical level.
路Contribute to the creation and adoption of focused strategies and transport investment plans.
路Interpret transport strategy and policy to ensure alignment with delivery teams and stakeholders.
路Provide support on the identification and development of schemes at the feasibility stage.
路Assist in the prioritisation processes required for delivering the investment plans.
路Support project management processes, including governance and delivery.
路Help engage in public consultation and facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
The Transport Planner will have key experience in:
路Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing integrated transport investment and delivery plans.
路Experience in prioritising and managing the delivery of transport investment plans.
路Familiarity with the development of schemes at the feasibility stage.
路Understanding of project management and governance processes.
路Experience in public consultation and engagement.
路Collaborative working and co-development with internal and external partners.
