I am seeking an experienced Payroll Lead to manage end-to-end payroll processes for a mid-sized organisation. This is a full-time, office based and permaenent opportunity based in Loughton. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with all statutory regulations, and liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll-related queries.You will report into a brilliant Managing Director and lead a team of Payroll Assistants.

Duties:

  • Oversee the preparation and processing of payroll for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations (PAYE, NI, pensions, etc.).
  • Manage payroll reconciliations, audits, and year-end reporting (P60s, P11Ds).
  • Address payroll discrepancies and resolve employee enquiries.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance to maintain accurate employee records.
  • Continuously improve payroll processes and systems for efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar payroll role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

The successful candidate will be experienced in the duties listed above, be a great team-player and communicator and able to commute to the client offices in Loughton for full-time work.
