The Role as a Photography Teacher: We are looking for a passionate and skilled Photography teacher to join a thriving Arts department. The successful candidate will teach Photography at Key Stages 4 and 5, nurturing students technical and creative skills and encouraging them to explore their artistic potential.
Key Responsibilities of a Photography Teacher: 路 Plan and deliver engaging Photography lessons that inspire creativity. 路 Teach students the technical aspects of photography, including camera operation, lighting, and editing. 路 Guide students in developing their portfolios for GCSE and A-Level coursework. 路 Foster an appreciation for visual storytelling and artistic expression. 路 Support students in preparing for exhibitions and competitions. 路 Contribute to the development of the Art & Design curriculum and resources.
What Were Looking For in a Photography Teacher: 路 A qualified teacher with a degree in Photography, Art & Design, or a related field. 路 Strong technical knowledge of cameras, photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop/Lightroom), and studio equipment. 路 A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching. 路 Excellent communication and classroom management skills. 路 A commitment to promoting inclusivity and inspiring all students to achieve their potential.
