SEN Teaching Assistant - Loughton

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support Learning: Assist in the delivery of tailored educational programs for students with various SEN requirements.
- Encourage Development: Work closely with teachers and specialists to promote the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
- Create an Inclusive Environment: Help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported.
- Collaborate: Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
- Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning materials.
- Support students in developing their independence and social skills.
- Monitor and record student progress, and report to teachers and parents.
- Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive interactions.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are advantageous.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and a positive attitude.
- Commitment: A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs and the desire to make a real impact.
