People Solutions are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Louth, Lincolnshire.

We are looking for day drivers, night drivers and trampers to work on an ongoing basis.

This role may become permanent for the right candidate.

Pay Rates

Monday to Friday Days £15 per hour
Monday to Friday Nights £17 per hour
Saturday £17 per hour
Sunday £19 per hour
Nights out £25 per night out
Overtime after 50 hours - £26.55 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
Follow company policies and procedures
Comply with driving rules and regulations
Trunk runs to depots
Positive 'can do' attitude
Curtain-side work
Strapping loads correctly
Trunk runs
Tramping work

Essential Skills

Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles
Maximum of six penalty points with no major endorsement codes
Work in a professional manner
Excellent communication skills

Desirable Experience

Experience working on a general haulage contract is desired but not essential
