Maintenance Supervisor – Precision EngineeringLocation: LowestoftJob Type: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Up to £40,000 (DOE) Hales Group is excited to be working with our long-standing client, a leading precision engineering company. We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep of manual and CNC machinery, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead and coordinate daily maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on CNC and older manual machines
Implement and manage preventive maintenance schedules
Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing, and spare parts
Identify process improvements to boost machine uptime
Ensure compliance with health & safety standards

What We’re Looking For:

Strong mechanical skills & understanding of CNC/manual machines
Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge
Excellent problem-solving ability in a fast-paced environment
Health & safety awareness and attention to detail
Experience in a precision engineering or manufacturing setting (preferred)
Relevant mechanical/electrical qualification (desirable)

Hours: Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00 (Lunch 12:00 – 12:30), Friday: 07:00 – 13:00
