Band 7/8a Pharmacist – Acute or Community Hospital Setting

We are currently seeking a Band 7/8a Pharmacist with experience in an acute hospital or community hospital setting to join our hospital based client in Lowestoft. This is an excellent opportunity for a prescriber looking to contribute their expertise in a dynamic environment.

Position Details:

  • Role: Band 7/8a Pharmacist (Must be a Independant Prescriber)
  • Location:  Lowestoft. On-site initially for training, with scope for hybrid working once settled.
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract: Ongoing
  • Pay Rate: £30 - £37 per hour
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clinical pharmacy services in an acute or community hospital setting.
  • Provide expert medication management and advice, including prescribing and patient counselling.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities.
  • Maintain and develop expertise in acute and community pharmacy practice.

Requirements:

  • GPHC Qualified Pharmacist with prescriber status.
  • Experience in an acute or community hospital setting.
  • Ability to work effectively both on-site and remotely once settled.
  • Strong communication and clinical skills.
