Our client based near Lowestoft specialises in the design and manufacture of bespoke communication systems for leading companies in the energy sector. Due to a significant contract win, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of high-profile infrastructure projects.

Role Overview:

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of communication systems across various sites, ensuring all project milestones are achieved within time, budget, and quality standards. You will work alongside a team of engineers and technical specialists while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of communications infrastructure projects, from planning through to completion.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including Project Engineers, Systems Integrators, and Installation Technicians.
  • Ensure that project objectives, timelines, and budgets are met, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  • Oversee risk management processes, quality control, and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
  • Mentor and support two Junior Project Managers, ensuring the successful delivery of their projects and fostering their professional development.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Prince2 certification (or equivalent) is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in project management, ideally within the communications or energy sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • A full driving licence and own transport.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior team members.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement.
