We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Primary Teacher to join a specialist SEN provider near Lowestoft. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate. The role is paid to scale with an SEN allowance if you hold QTS.
You will work with primary-aged children with learning disabilities, supporting them to achieve and exceed expectations. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver lessons tailored to meet the needs of SEN students
- Support students in their personal and academic development
- Work closely with the SEN team to create individual learning plans
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
- Regularly assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed
- Engage with parents and guardians to keep them informed of progress
Requirements:
- QTS preferred, but candidates without QTS are welcome to apply if you have extensive SEN experience and relevant qualifications
- Experience working with primary-aged SEN students
- Passion for supporting students with learning disabilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to create engaging and supportive lesson plans
