Are you an organised and detail-oriented finance professional looking for your next challenge? Our client are seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to play a crucial role in their finance function as they embark on an exciting time of growth and change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Manage purchase ledger invoices, expenses, and credit notes.
  • Payment Runs: Prepare and post weekly and monthly supplier payment runs in GBP and other currencies.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile supplier statements and bank accounts, resolving any discrepancies.
  • Credit Control: Proactively chase customer payments and manage overdue accounts.
  • Sales Processing: Handle sales invoices for trade customers and allocate sales receipts.
  • Month-End Support: Assist with accruals, prepayments, and month-end processing leading to management accounts.


What You'll Bring:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an accounts environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with Sage, Quickbooks, or Xero is essential; familiarity with Shopify is a bonus.
  • Qualifications: Ideally AAT qualified or working towards it, with a solid grasp of finance processes.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written skills, with a proactive and organised approach to work.
  • Team Player: Honest, collaborative, and energetic, ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
