Mego Employment is pleased to present an opportunity for a Facilities Supervisor to join our trusted client in Bristol. This role is well-suited for someone who values building strong relationships and has the ability to deliver meaningful results.

We're looking for a detail-focused professional with excellent communication skills who can create clear guidelines and collaborate effectively with individuals across all levels. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing efficient processes while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised environment.

What will I be doing?

  • Developing and implementing standard operating procedures to ensure smooth operations and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Supervising and supporting facility staff, providing clear guidance and addressing any performance issues.
  • Conducting regular inspections to maintain a clean, safe, and functional environment.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and service providers to achieve operational excellence.
  • Responding to facility emergencies and addressing any issues promptly to minimise disruptions.
  • Coordinating waste management and recycling efforts across the site to ensure compliance, optimise performance, and meet the company's recycling goals.
  • Working collaboratively with the other Facilities and Recycling staff.

About you -

Ideally, you will have experience in a waste management environment, along with strong IT, literacy, and numeracy skills.

Additionally, you should have a background in an operational setting and feel comfortable liaising with stakeholders at various levels.

If you have IOSH certification, that's a plus, but we're still happy to discuss the role if you have relevant experience.

Hours -

This role offers some flexibility with shift patterns, though we do require candidates to join the rotation and commit to specific days, which we'd be happy to discuss further. You will be expected to work 37 hours across a 4-day period.
