Position: Employment Coach Location: Luton Salary: £25,500 - £31,000 Type: Permanent The Role In this role you will be responsible for managing a caseload of participants within the community, at pop-up Satellite Hubs, and at our Activity Hub. You will provide high-quality support and guidance, facilitating the engagement of participants in activities that help them overcome barriers to successful resettlement and achieve milestones leading to sustainable employment, education, or training.

You will undergo enhanced vetting checks.

In this role you will work at our hub in Luton and in the community.

We are looking for people who have: Demonstrable experience in motivating and supporting individuals with multiple and complex needs to overcome barriers and progress towards future goals in education, training, and employment. Experience in working with external stakeholders to provide exceptional participant support or progression routes, including employers, local authorities, health services, or voluntary sector organisations.

The ability to build, manage, and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of support services to ensure comprehensive participant support. Proven experience of successfully working to targets and key performance indicators, with the ability to monitor and report on participant progress effectively. Excellent organisational skills and time management, with the ability to manage a caseload independently and provide community-based support.

Main Duties and Responsibilities o    Responsible for the delivery and coordination of all CFO Hub achievement (in Hubs and Pop-Up locations) stages including induction, assessment (where applicable) and all service levels including Education Training and Employment (ETE). o    Facilitation of interventions and activities as outlined in the Hub timetable. o    Manage a caseload of participants with complex needs requiring intensive person-centred support. o    Recruit, train and provide support for Hub Peer Mentors. o    Updating of case notes and inputting of achievements info CATS+ the commissioners case management recording system, ensuring high level of compliance to avoid rejected achievements. o    To ensure the accurate and timely recording of input client data and information in order that the service operatives within contractual, administrative and financial requirements. o    Building, managing, and maintaining stakeholder relationships to ensure a steady flow of referrals and ensure that there is no duplication of services. o    Build, manage and maintain support service relationships to ensure referral to/engagement with a wide range of support services for participants based upon need. o    Build, manage and maintain relationships with other CFO Evolution staff (both internally and externally) to ensure the smooth transfer in of through -the-gate participants. Including involvement with the pre-release inventory and where applicable attending prisons to meet participants prior to release. o    Identify, develop and maintain local employer/training/education links to assist with participants moving into sustainable Education / Training / Employment. o    Work collaboratively with the Hub Manager, Regional Manager, Hub Host , central support teams and subcontractor teams to ensure standardised approaches to delivery.

Qualifications o    ICT proficiency including all major Microsoft applications o    Level 2 English & Maths or equivalent experience o    IAG qualification e.g., NVQ Information, Advice and Guidance o    Level 3 Award in Education and Training or PTLLS

Skills & Experience o    Demonstrable experience of motivating and supporting individuals with multiple and complex needs to overcome barriers and progress towards future goals of education, training and employment o    Experience with data entry, accuracy, and attention to detail o    Strong track record of successfully working to targets and KPIs o    Experience of working with external stakeholders in providing exceptional participant support or progression routes, working with employers or local authorities or health services or voluntary sector organisations o    An understanding of, and positive attitude towards: mental and physical health; community and social inclusion; and a strength and assets-based approach to engaging participants. o    Experience of supporting offenders in the community and/ or custody to progress towards education, training and employment o    Strong communication and motivational skills across a broad range of resource types, skills and backgrounds o    Proactive and solution focused, taking initiative to create opportunities o    Passionate about making a positive difference to peoples’ lives o    Excellent organisational skills and time management o    Ability to work independently, providing community-based support to participants from our centres o    Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills o    A motivational, flexible and problem-solving approach
