We seek an HR Advisor for a public sector client to collaborate with HR Senior Business Partners and HR Business Partners to support the implementation of Directorate and Service People Plans. This role will ensure that accurate and proactive HR advice is provided to both managers and employees.
The post holder will focus on delivering comprehensive and proactive HR generalist advice and guidance to managers, enabling them to implement HR policies and procedures across all aspects of Employee Relations. This includes managing issues related to sickness absence, bullying and harassment, grievances, conduct, performance management, and recruitment, by our policies, Employment Law, and best practices.
Additionally, the HR Advisor will serve as a point of contact for managers and employees seeking general advice and support, while directing more complex issues to the HR Senior Business Partners and HR Business Partners as needed.
Experience and Qualifications Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Human Resources Management and/or HR certification (CIPD).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR generalist role, with a strong emphasis on Employee Relations.
- Proven ability to provide proactive HR advice and support to managers and employees.
- Familiarity with HR policies, Employment Law, and industry best practices.
- Experience handling complex HR issues, including sickness absence, bullying and harassment, grievances, conduct, performance management, and recruitment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
The position is hybrid, and the successful candidate must be able to commute to work as required.
