We are seeking a confident and self-motivated Carpenter to join our team, focusing on maintenance and repair services for council properties.
The role involves various carpentry tasks, including the installation and repair of doors, windows, and UPVC, as well as small works in other trades like plumbing and plastering.
Candidates should have experience in carpentry and property maintenance within a social housing environment, with knowledge of UPVC installation being advantageous.
The position requires strong communication and customer service skills, as you will be liaising with residents and colleagues regularly.
The salary for this position is competitive, and applicants should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Your work will involve a variety of carpentry tasks, including:

Installation, maintenance, and repairs of doors, windows, and general woodwork.
UPVC installation and property maintenance.
Small works in other trade areas such as basic plumbing, plastering, or decorating.
Liaising with residents, peers, and colleagues to ensure excellent customer service.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in carpentry and property maintenance within a social housing or similar environment.
Knowledge of UPVC installation would be an advantage.
A practical understanding of the construction and property maintenance industry.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication and customer service skills, as you will be engaging with residents and colleagues daily.
