My client is seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join their growing team. Reporting to the Senior Product & Sourcing Manager, this role is pivotal in developing sales strategies, nurturing customer relationships, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with excellent selling skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team.Day to Day of the role:
  • Collaborate with External Business Development Managers to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to maximise revenue.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key customer accounts to identify areas for mutual profitable growth.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities and convert them into profitable sales.
  • Plan, forecast, and report on sales activities, measuring against KPIs.
  • Develop relationships with all internal departments and stakeholders to work collaboratively.
  • Generate quotes, provide lead time estimates, and follow up on them.
  • Handle general email inquiries and ensure a high level of customer service.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven selling skills and the ability to close sales effectively.
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills across multiple channels.
  • A problem solver who takes ownership of enquiries and challenges.
  • Self-motivated and driven with an outstanding attendance record.
  • Proficiency in IT, with a working knowledge of MS Office being desirable.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
