Job Title: Head of Business Development and Marketing Salary: up to £65,000 per annum Location: St Albans / Hybrid after probation period Contract: Full time, Maternity contract 9-10 months Hours: 9.00 am to 5.15 pm (1 hour lunch)A professional services company, based in the lovely town of St Albans are recruiting for a Head of Business Development and Marketing to lead their strategic initiative and driving business growth.The successful candidate will have a focus on developing key relationships, leading a small team to create and execute a strong and consistent business development and marketing strategy across the company.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Degree or similar qualification in a marketing or business-related subjec
  • Proven experience in a marketing and business development role within a professional services organisatio
  • Experience of developing and implementing marketing strategies
  • Experience working with metrics and budget management
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing techniques including SEO, SEM and social media marketing
  • A good understanding of website analytical tools
  • Good leadership skills
  • Ability to forge and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Previous experience managing projects and budgets

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working closely with senior team members to develop and lead an ambitious business development and marketing strategy
  • Leading and mentoring the business development and marketing team
  • Conducting market research to identify trend and opportunities for growth
  • Creating and implementing progressive marketing plans to promote the companies brand and attract new clients
  • Measuring the effectiveness of a range of organic and paid channels including; content creation, pay per click campaigns, event management, social media, lead generation campaigns etc
  • Overseeing the concept and design of content for their website, social media and other digital channels
  • Managing online media campaigns
  • Organising and participating in events and seminars
  • Managing the annual business development and marketing budget
