- Collaborate with External Business Development Managers to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to maximise revenue.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key customer accounts to identify areas for mutual profitable growth.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities and convert them into profitable sales.
- Plan, forecast, and report on sales activities, measuring against KPIs.
- Develop relationships with all internal departments and stakeholders to work collaboratively.
- Generate quotes, provide lead time estimates, and follow up on them.
- Handle general email inquiries and ensure a high level of customer service.
- Proven selling skills and the ability to close sales effectively.
- Strong organisational and planning abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills across multiple channels.
- A problem solver who takes ownership of enquiries and challenges.
- Self-motivated and driven with an outstanding attendance record.
- Proficiency in IT, with a working knowledge of MS Office being desirable.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive salary within the £25,000 to £29,000 banding.
