Future Select specialise in recruitment within the Asbestos Industry, and we are currently working closely with a well-respected and established provider of Asbestos Consultancy services in the South East of England. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking to take on a qualified and knowledgeable Asbestos Surveyor. The successful candidate will have experience carrying out asbestos surveys on Commercial, Industrial and Public Sector client sites in line with HSG 248 guidelines and pre-agreed time frames. For the successful candidate, our client can offer opportunities for further training & development, company vehicle and generous basic salary.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Hitchin, Bishop's Stortford, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Braintree, Colchester, Basildon, Bedford, Leighton Buzzard, St Neots, Northampton, Bletchley, Buckingham, Watford, Enfield, St Albans, Harlow.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Will hold an industry recognised qualification e.g. BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent.
" Experience working hands on as an Asbestos Surveyor for an established UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy is beneficial to the role.
" Will have excellent understanding of HSG 248 guidelines.
" Able to use industry recognised system's, e.g. TEAMS / TRACKER.
" Excellent communication and time management skills.
The Role:
" Conducting management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Ensuring to carry out re-inspection surveys.
" Undertaking sampling of suspected ACMs, ensuring to bag safely and label correctly prior to sending for analysis.
" Working in line with HSG 248 guidelines.
" Using information from site to produce detailed reports, ensuring to submit to clients in a timely manner.
" Liaising with clients to provide excellent technical support and advice.
" Working on Commercial, Industrial and Public Sector client sites.
