The ideal candidate will have expertise in programming 3, 4, and 5 axis milling machines using Hypermill or OneCNC offline software. Responsibilities
- Program 3, 4, and 5 axis milling machines using Hypermill or OneCNC offline software
- Interpret technical drawings and create programs from scratch
- Set up and operate 5 axis milling machines
- Maintain strict quality standards and ensure precision in all output
- Communicate with colleagues and management to ensure processes run smoothly
- Continuously seek to improve processes and provide input on machining strategies
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming 3, 4, and 5 axis milling machines
- Experience with Hypermill or OneCNC offline software
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and create programs from scratch
- CAD/CAM experience is essential
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Training can be provided for the right candidate
Day-to-day
- Analyzing technical drawings and creating machining programs
- Setting up and operating 5 axis milling machines
- Communicating with colleagues and management to ensure process efficiency

Rate and hours
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
