Overview of the Role Health&SafetyManager

This pivotal role involves overseeing Health & Safety protocols for ongoing and future projects, carrying substantial responsibility.

The role of theHealth&SafetyManager(HSQE) is to co-ordinate and oversee all aspects of company H&S, Quality and Environmental to ensure the company and its operations comply with all areas of the law. To ensure that the workforce always works safely and that thestaff are competent to undertake their work safely and if applicable are given the necessary training.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improvehealthandsafetymanagement system that reflects legal and good practice standards.
  • Promote a culture where H&S is front of mind for all members of the team
  • Keep up to date with changes in the legislation and standards.
  • Ensure all resources are used efficiently to maximise profits
