Description
Accounts Payable Lead
- Oversee and manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, expense reporting, and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage and maintain the AP ledger and support month-end and year-end close activities.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the accounts payable team to meet performance goals and maintain high standards of accuracy and productivity.
- Provide training, guidance, and ongoing performance feedback to team members.
- Coordinate workload distribution, monitor progress, and address any workflow bottlenecks.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Procurement, Finance, and Accounting) to streamline workflows and ensure cross-departmental alignment
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Lead should have:
- Proven experience in accounts payable
- Leadership experience, leading AR/AP teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in finance-related software and systems.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
