About the Role
Capio Recruitment is working with a respected law firm in Luton that is looking to expand its Family Law department with the addition of a Family Solicitor. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload of private family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, and cohabitation disputes. Key Responsibilities
- Handling a range of private family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, and child arrangements
- Providing clear, practical legal advice tailored to client needs
- Representing clients in negotiations and, where necessary, court proceedings
- Drafting legal documents, including consent orders and cohabitation agreements
- Managing cases independently while contributing to the team’s overall success
- Engaging in business development and networking to support the firm’s growth
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in Family Law
- Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of family law matters
- Excellent client care skills, with a compassionate and professional approach
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with mediation or collaborative law (desirable but not essential)
