An exciting opportunity has arisen for Private Client Solicitor ideally with 10 years of experience to join a private client department at a well-established law firm. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a competitive salary.

As a Private Client Solicitor, you will develop and manage a diverse client portfolio, providing expert legal advice across a range of private client matters, including wills, probate, trusts, LPAs and estate administration.

You will be responsible for:

  • Conduct client meetings, document discussions, and handle new enquiries.
  • Perform relevant searches and develop proposals to maximise entitlements under HMRC inheritance rules.
  • Manage cases and files efficiently, supporting the development of junior team members.
  • Contribute to CPD, marketing initiatives, charity and networking events, and the creation of webinars/podcasts and legal clinics.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures while managing client expectations and risks.

What we are looking for.

  • Previously worked as a Private Client Solicitor, Private Client Lawyer or in a similar role.
  • Ideally have 10 years of experience in private client within a legal practice environment.
  • A clear desire to progress to Partner level.
  • Skilled in case management systems and MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
