Hours: 9-5.30pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch.

Due to expansion a great opportunity has arisen for a Legal Secretary with experience in Public Family Law to join our clients friendly Family Law Team based in Luton and they are looking for candidates who would like a career with them.

The successful candidate will be supporting Solicitors and Partners with the day to day running of their files. Preferably someone who has worked in a similar role, with an understanding of the production and documents used with audio/copy typing in Public Family Law, along with general legal forms such as; C2, Part 25 and Legal Aid Applications, FAS Forms, Advocates Meetings, attendance notes in Public Family.

It is essential to have experience in Public Family Law and Legal Aid, with excellent keyboard skills and a good telephone manner, together with an understanding of using legal documents and legal forms. Previous experience of working on a Case Management System would also be helpful to the role.

Skills and Requirements: A Legal Secretary P/A preferably with an understanding of Public Family Law. It is desirable to have excellent keyboard skills and a good telephone manner. It is essential to have had an understanding of using legal documents and legal forms such as C2, Part 25 and Legal Aid Applications, together with previous knowledge of working on a Case Management System in a law firm.
