Job Opportunity: Shift Maintenance Engineer
Location - Luton
Salary: £45,000 - £47,000
Shift Pattern: 4 on - 4 off (Days and Nights)
A skilled Maintenance Engineer is needed to join a team in a state-of-the-art factory. The role involves maintaining and improving food processing and packaging machinery.
Maintenance Engineer responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on equipment.
- Fault find and troubleshoot various PLCs.
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out planned and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure smooth operation of all food process and packaging machinery.
Maintenance Engineer experience:
- A multi-skilled engineer with a recognised qualification in electrical engineering and a solid mechanical understanding.
- Motivated and quick to react to breakdowns.
- Experience working within a PPM schedule and a continuous improvement environment.
Maintenance Engineer qualifications:
- BTECH/ONC in Electrical discipline or Multi-skilled Engineering qualification.
- C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro-technical certificate combined with NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance.
- Time-served apprentice.
- HNC level in electrical, mechanical, or production maintenance engineering.
