Are you an ambitious and customer-focused individual looking to build a successful career in property lettings? We are seeking a Lettings Negotiator to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities of a Lettings Negotiator:
  • Answer telephone calls professionally and take accurate messages
  • Register applicants, ensuring contact details are recorded correctly
  • Match properties to prospective tenants when a new property goes live
  • Book and conduct rental property viewings
  • Provide landlords with feedback and update them on market conditions
  • Negotiate and agree rental offers between landlords and tenants
  • Process offers, including referencing, credit checks, and Right to Rent verification
  • Prepare Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreements
  • Inform tenants of any changes to rental terms and required maintenance
  • Arrange pre-tenancy works such as gas safety certificates, electrical checks, cleaning, and inventory
  • Carry out check-ins and complete all necessary file audits
  • Make at least 20 call-outs per day to prospective tenants, landlords, and clients
  • Book and manage rental valuations, ensuring properties are listed correctly
  • Request reviews from clients, contractors, and tenants to improve SEO and enhance company reputation
  • Manage marketing boards and ensure effective property promotion
  • Work towards and achieve personal and branch targets
  • Upsell additional services, such as property marketing packages
  • Attend and participate in lettings meetings to share insights and improve team performance
