Role Overview: As a Children Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with a diverse range of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Collaborating closely with teachers to cater to individual student requirements.
  2. Assisting students during classroom activities, ensuring their engagement and understanding.
  3. Providing one-on-one support to students with personal care and Social Emotional needs
  4. Implementing behavior management strategies and maintaining a positive learning environment.

About School: Students with a range of special needs that include Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe learning Difficulties (SLD) and pupils with ASD and complex needs between the ages 11 yrs to 18 yrs.

Qualifications and Experience: To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Right to Work in the UK (NO Sponsorship Provided. Candidates on Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible for this position)
  • Comfortable with Personal and Intimate Care
  • Experience working with people with varied Special Needs
  • Experience working with Children /Young Adults
  • Enhanced Child and Adult DBS ( We can help you apply if you dont have already)
